Brian is currently in his third year of his Ph.D. studies at the Graduate School of Education, where he is studying Educational Policy. He has previously taught high school history and government and served as a school administrator in Mississippi before coming back to New Jersey. His current research attempts to foster civic engagement and civic responsibility through the high school social studies curriculum.Ewa Lavin
Ewa is a second-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. Her research and interests include: evidence-based program implementation and evaluation, urban education and assessment of English language learners. At CSCD, Ewa is an evaluation assistant in the Caring Schools Inclusion Project (CSIP) looking at the impact of character education on the social inclusion of students with disabilities.

Gregg is a first year graduate student in the Rutgers School of Social Work on the New Brunswick campus. He is working towards his Masters in Social Work. At the CSCD Gregg works as Graduate Project Assistant on the FCSCCE Project, he helps with the writing and distribution of the Listserv Newsletter, and he is also assisting on the NJSOC Project.
