Brian is currently in his third year of his Ph.D. studies at the Graduate School of Education, where he is studying Educational Policy. He has previously taught high school history and government and served as a school administrator in Mississippi before coming back to New Jersey. His current research attempts to foster civic engagement and civic responsibility through the high school social studies curriculum.

Ewa is a second-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. Her research and interests include: evidence-based program implementation and evaluation, urban education and assessment of English language learners. At CSCD, Ewa is an evaluation assistant in the Caring Schools Inclusion Project (CSIP) looking at the impact of character education on the social inclusion of students with disabilities.

Erin is currently in her final year of her Masters in Social Work at the School of Social Work. She is on the Health, Mental Health and Aging Track with a focus on Direct Practice. She has been with CSCD for two years and is the New Jersey School of Character Award Coordinator.

Robert is working with CSCD@RU on the PACES project as an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer while he finishes his B.A. in history at Rutgers University. Before receiving his M.A., he plans on joining the Peace Corps and Teach for America. His goal is to teach high school social studies in an urban area. He would also like to develop and teach the curriculum of a one-year course that encompasses African and African-American history.

Lisa is a third year doctoral student in the School of Communication, Information and Library Studies at Rutgers University. Her studies to date have been in the area of communication processes, focusing on group social interaction, design, and intractable conflict. She holds a master's degree in communication, a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, and works as a communication consultant to Johnson & Johnson. Prior to returning to school for graduate studies, she worked as a senior project manager at AT&T.

Gregg is a first year graduate student in the Rutgers School of Social Work on the New Brunswick campus. He is working towards his Masters in Social Work. At the CSCD Gregg works as Graduate Project Assistant on the FCSCCE Project, he helps with the writing and distribution of the Listserv Newsletter, and he is also assisting on the NJSOC Project.
