NJ Schools Capture Promising Practice Awards

This year, 23 schools in New Jersey have been recognized for having "Promising Practices" by the Character Education Partnership (CEP).  As part of the National Schools of Character awards program, the Character Education Partnership gives Promising Practices awards to schools and districts in the United States and elsewhere for implementing unique and specific strategies in character education.

This year, CEP received a record 474 applications from 320 public and private schools and districts.  (CEP) has announced it will award 196 schools and districts from across the United States, as well as Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Singapore, 228 awards for “Promising Practices” in character education.
