Please note that CC! materials are most effective when used by individuals who have been properly trained in CC! and who understand how to integrate and weave the Six Pillars of Character into current curricula, activities, and programs. The materials listed below and found on charactercounts.org should be seen as support materials that can be used to enhance your character education program and not be seen as the program itself. A few of these key resources are listed below. "Good Ideas to Help Young People Develop Good Character" - 250 activities and lesson plans divided by age, grade, and Pillar, K-12. "Developing Character When it Counts" - fun activity ideas to reinforce character education and build self confidence, K-8. "Making Ethical Decisions" - booklet by Michael Josephson that outlines the decision-making process. "Parenting: The Most Important Job of Your Life" - a tool for parents and guardians that was developed in partnership with the National PTA.
