PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION:
| Our N.J. State approved professional development workshop is designed to create a schoolwide anti-bullying initative among students, administators, staff, parents and community members. Our workshop is designed to raise awareness about the many facets of bullying facing our schools and society. The group will explore the anatomy of bullying, receive the current facts and figures available on bullying, destroy the myths, and learn how they can make a difference in their schools. Direction on setting up a protocol for each school, getting students to take a proactive approach and community involvement are addressed. Information will be disseminated through film, powerpoint presentation, audience participation and handouts. Participants will receive a bibliography and materials to be used with students and parents. Presenters will work with school personnel to accomodate individual needs. www.antibullyingprograms.com |
