DESCRIPTION OF PUBLICATIONS:

Our Character Education quote theme teaches students the importance of character traits such as honesty, respect, ambition, courage and friendship through a three-part set focusing on a single trait. The first week introduces the character trait by defining it; the second week proposes a real-life scenario related to the trait; the third week reinforces the character trait with an inspirational quote. Example: (Week One) A person with INTEGRITY acts according to a sense of what's right and wrong. (Week Two) A group of freinds plans to sneak into the movie theater, rather than pay admission. What do you do? (Week Three) "If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity, nothing else matters." -- Alan Simpson. Our elementary character education features new words/concepts every week, helping students develop strong self-esteem and become caring, responsible citizens. Example: Word of the Week: Loyalty. Definition: Loyalty is always being a good friend. Visit www.schooldatebooks.com for more information!
